President's
Message
It is a privilege and
with humility that I stand before you today
as the President of ALL Aro USA . I am honored
and grateful to be part of Arochukwu Kingdom
family for the past two years. During this
time, my love and respect for All Aro USA
and its Kingdom has grown.
I want to use this opportunity
to send a warm thanks to the All Aro members,
the patrons, the Executive Council, the
past All Aro Executive Council, My personal
thanks also goes to Mazi Jay Oji, Val and
the people that formed ALL ARO USA; the
general public and members of other Nigerian
organizations.
Today's event unites
All Aro USA as a family and provides a forum
for us to mingle and become acquainted with
one another in this great Arochukwu Kingdom.
We Aro's are well known
for our spirit of brotherhood. We say among
our people that the greatest measure of
a person is his family. We say that blood
is thicker than water, and it is an old
proverb that you don't throw away a brother.
At the end of the day, we are all still
brothers and sisters from the great Arochukwu
Kingdom, and in the final analysis, this
is still the reason why we are all here.
Nobody is here because he has to. We are
all here, rather, because we share a bond
much stronger than any artificial affiliations.
That bond is brotherhood, and sisterhood.
This is one mighty bond. So, the watchword
of this Union is unity. A house divided
will fall, but a house united is stronger
than the Rock of Gibraltar.
Moving forward, I pledge
to work shoulder to shoulder with my talented
and dedicated Executive Council and patrons
to facilitate and strengthen our great Arochukwu
Kingdom. As we flourish and strengthen our
bonds, I believe we will all lend our time,
effort and talent to solidify us in Aro
community here and at home.
We have come a long way,
and today would not have been possible without
the selfless sacrifice of many of us. This
is done so that we may gather together in
brotherhood that we may stand united and
represent our state with pride and dignity.
There are still many obstacles in our path,
many trials and tribulations. But, we will
not be deterred. We will not look back,
because every great journey begins with
a few steps.
In just few years, we
have made strides, even though we are still
in our infancy. We have thrown away the
stroller, and we are taking our first steps
forward. We might stumble and fall, but
there is no looking back, because we know
that, just like the baby who has just begun
to walk, our legs can only get stronger.
Still, we are proud of our achievements
so far.
In 2005 All Aro USA
completed its second medical mission in
Arochukwu and performed the first periodic
operation of the clinic sustenance plan
in January, which operated on a monthly
basis in since 2006. All Aro USA will make
great unite with the New York/New Jersey
group in Obinkita Arochukwu for the opening
of a computer center as well as the Love
Excel Outreach Inc, Medical Mission in Amuvi
Arochukwu. We are planning another Medical
Mission in September 2007 and will extend
the medical supplies to Amuvi vallege and
Atani vallege
All Aro USA maintains open communication
with Aro medical professionals on a weekly
basis as well as the Eze Aro. In 2006 the
Delegate Conference in Las Vegas resulted
in the adoption of the Constitutional Review,
where the Aro issues were discussed with
the hopes of promoting Unity, Success and
Harmony among all Aro people.
I offer my unwavering
dedication to work toward the common good
of All Aros in Diaspora. No man is an island,
and unity can only be achieved when All
Aros work in harmony and set aside differences
that cause divisions.
Our ability to unify
will be judged by our ability to come together
under a common vision that will erase the
divisions that once held us back Aros. I
challenge everyone to rise to the occasion
and embrace selfless participation in All
Aro USA, now is our time to march forward
as one people. I seek your wisdom and I
trust in your commitment to the common good
of the union. And finally, I challenge myself,
the members of the Executive Council and
the patrons to live up to the highest standards
of commitment, hard work and competence
in the public service of Arochukwu Kingdom.
With all this said, I Mazi David N Iphie
thank you all for coming to All Aro USA
10th Annual Conference in New York/ New
Jersey.
